Middle Tennessee

In Middle Tennessee, First Horizon Foundation provides grants to eligible nonprofits in the following counties: Davidson, Maury, Montgomery, Putnam, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson and Wilson.

Organizations we’ve supported in Middle Tennessee include:

Second Harvest Food Bank

Our support helps one of the largest and most comprehensive food banks in the country feed the hungry through its mobile food pantries and warehouse. Additionally, First Horizon Bank employees serve as volunteers throughout the year with the organization.

We support local YMCAs throughout our footprint. Did you know the organization is the largest provider of child care in the country? Through our contributions to YMCAs before and after school programming, we are supporting safe, nurturing environments for thousands of students in our Middle Tennessee communities.

Tennessee State Museum

Opened in late 2018, our capital support of the Tennessee State Museum provided funding to construct the museum that commemorates the state’s history. With more than 150,000 artifacts in its holdings, our state’s vibrant history is encapsulated and celebrated within this new museum at the Bicentennial Mall in Nashville.

Martha O’Bryan Center

In 2015, we announced a commitment to support Nashville’s Martha O’Bryan Center in bringing parents, partners and educators together to increase high school graduation and college acceptance rates for at-risk high school students.

Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt

We’re proud to support healthcare institutions throughout the region, as we believe the health of a community begins with the health of its people. Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt has been ranked among the best children’s hospitals in the country and serves nearly 50,000 patients each year.
